Position Summary
Under the direction of RN, the Certified Medical Assistant will room patients, take vital signs, collect lab specimens, assist with routine tests, prepare and clean exam rooms and order supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities
The CMA will be committed to creating a positive team environment while being a good team member.
Certifications and Licensures
Current CMA/RMA certification and BLS certification required upon hire.
Education and Experience
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Ability to relate and communicate well with diverse population.
