Position Summary
Under the supervision of an LCSW, the Behavioral Health Social Worker provides intervention to individuals and families across the lifespan ranging from toddler through late adulthood in an outpatient setting. The Social Worker is a primary care team member and may provide assessment and education related to total health and wellness of CAMcare patients.
Responsibilities
The candidate must be comfortable working with diverse range of patients in terms of age, race, culture/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, income and educational levels, medical and mental health needs.
The Behavioral Health Social Worker will provide care for a wide variety of mental health, psychosocial, motivational, and medical concerns, including addiction and adherence to medical treatment.
Certifications and Licensures
Current Licensed Social Work (LSW) in the state of New Jersey.
Education and Experience
1-2 years of experience in private practice.
